About
In 2006, a few members of the current team were working with and talking to small businesses and started hearing some consistent themes:
- It’s difficult for businesses to engage customers consistently
- Most customers like engaging with businesses, but don’t have the opportunity
- When they do, great ideas tend to come out of the conversation
- Even the best ideas, however, are difficult to plan, forecast and then to keep on-track
So we did a lot of research, talking to more businesses, as well as to our friends who are experts in large business strategy, marketing, product development, and other areas, and came up with the BigTreeTop idea, as well as a vision of bringing small businesses and their customers into close, mutually beneficial relationships that strengthen the businesses themselves as well as their state, local and national economies.

Esther-
It was a pleasure meeting with you tonight at Rainmakers. I hope to see you (and your husband) at future events! The website looks great and I look forward to seeing it progress and go live! Best wishes!
